Adam Schenk Wins In Bermuda
Adam Schenk has made 243 starts over the course of 10 years as a pro.
He was on the verge of losing his TOUR card.
The conditions on Sunday in Bermuda were anything but ideal for someone in that position, with wind blowing 30mph throughout the final round and gusts reaching 45mph.
Yet, with all of those elements to contend with, Schenk got creative, and grinded out his first career victory. Just look at the type of shots he had to hit on his way to winning…
When things finally wrapped up, he managed to hold his lead for the entire back nine and ended as the 16th first-time winner on TOUR this season.
Fitzpatrick Wins In Dubai
If you were up early enough, you were treated to some good golf from the European tour.
At one point, Rory, Fitz, Fleetwood, Neergard-Peterson, and Laurie Canter were all in contention on the back nine.
Ultimately, we ended up with a Rory McIlroy vs Matt Fitzpatrick playoff to wrap up the DP World Tour season, which only happened because Rory made a 15 foot eagle putt on the 72nd hole. Electric.
Unfortunately for Rory, he sprayed his tee-shot on the playoff hole into the water and made a bogey 6. Fitzpatrick got up and down for par and won the tournament.
It was a great way for Fitzpatrick to finish a season that started slow for him, and we expect to see him back in major championship contention in 2026.
As for McIlroy, it wasn’t all bad - he still won the Race to Dubai title for the 7th time, placing him one ahead of Seve Ballesteros and one behind Colin Montgomerie’s record for the season long title.
