Maverick McNealy delivered in the clutch on the final hole, sticking his approach shot to just 5 feet, 5 inches.

He calmly drained the birdie putt, securing his first career Tour victory. The win earned him a coveted spot at The Sentry in January and The Masters in April. Even more special? His brother, Scout McNealy, was on the bag—a moment they’ll never forget.

McNealy’s birdie on the 72nd hole was enough to edge out Daniel Berger, Nico Echavarria, and amateur Luke Clanton by a single stroke.

The RSM classic was notable for two reasons:

1. You had a bunch of guys at the top of the leaderboard who were trying to get their first win on Tour and McNealy pulled it off by one stroke.

2. You had a bunch of guys trying to keep their tour cards by playing well enough to finish in the top 125 in Fedex Cup rankings. Fan favorite Joel Dahmen pulled it off. (This number is notably shrinking to just 100 starting in 2026.)
