Scottie Scheffler: Elite Golf Dad
Plus: New Happy Gilmore Trailer, A Chance To Play With Paige, and More.

Good Afternoon. This is one of the best seasons of professional golf that we’ve seen in some time.
Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler have both won 3x already - including one major each.
We could see them complete two career grand slams in the same season. What more could you want in the lead up to the U.S. Open at Oakmont next week?
On top of that, Bryson DeChambeau is at the top of his game and somehow everyone’s forgotten that Xander Schauffele won two majors last season.
Can’t really ask for much more.
P.S.
It’s a Ryder Cup year.
New Trailer: Happy Gilmore 2
Check out all of the professional golfers (and rapper Eminem) who make cameos in the trailer. Sequels never seem to live up to the hype (except for Godfather II and Terminator II), but this one should be a ton of fun.
We’re looking forward to July.

Quick Recap: The Memorial Tournament

I’m running out of words to describe Scottie Scheffler.
Partially because my grasp of the English language is tenuous at best, but mostly because Scottie Scheffler is doing something we haven’t seen in professional golf since Tiger was at his peak.
Believe it or not, this is the best version of Scottie Scheffler we’ve seen yet.
Maybe I’ll find the words to adequately describe his play another day, but sometimes all we can do is sit back and appreciate greatness when it’s in front of us.
Enjoy the ride.
A Note On Jack Nicklaus, Scottie Scheffler, Fatherhood, and Family.
Jack and Scottie have a lot in common on the golf course, but after watching the broadcast & interviews this weekend, something else really stuck out to me.
Both of them are worthy of admiration even if they never touched a golf club.
Because of the way they live their lives.
They both seem to love and admire their wives - they praise them publicly quite often. Just listen to the way Jack speaks about Barbara here.
They are proud to be fathers.
Jack’s 1986 Masters win was an all time great Father-Son moment.
Scottie Scheffler’s wife and son have become a fixture of his post win celebrations. Family is at the heart of everything that they do.
Professional Golfer Scottie Scheffler emotionally credits his wife for helping him be the best father—while holding their baby immediately after winning the PGA Championship. ♥️
Children are blessings, not burdens.
Get married. Have kids.

By the way, a few months ago, we launched a newsletter for dads called Dad Day.
It’s also got a private slack community for dads where we talk about things like lawns, fitness, grilling, sports, and of course Fatherhood.
