It’s been a long wait, but the Ryder Cup (and best sports weekend of the year) is finally here.
It’s time to get your stars and stripes on, put your differences aside, and cheer for Old Glory.
Last time the Ryder Cup was in the USA, the good guys mopped the floor with the Europeans, en route to a record 19-9 victory, but there’s no guarantees when it comes to the cup.
Even though the road team hasn’t won since 2012, Team USA is entering Bethpage with four rookies on the squad, while Europe only has one.
Could that be the difference maker?
The good guys need 14.5 points to win the cup.
A 14-14 tie means Europe will retain the cup.
Anything else is unfathomable.
