Quick Update: Travelers Championship

Wind can take an otherwise tame course and make it challenging.

That was the case yesterday at TPC River Highlands, where winds made playing conditions quite difficult for the field, who saw an average score over par.

Although, some weren’t as effected by the wind as others.

Yesterday, Justin Thomas and Denny McCarthy (-7) both shot up the leaderboard after carding 64’s.

At one point on the back nine, Justin Thomas had made five straight birdies.

In other words, dude was en fuego. He made over 146 feet of putts during the 2nd round.

Justin Thomas, Tommy Fleetwood, and Scottie Scheffler (-9) are tied for the lead as we head into moving day.

What about everybody else?

Jason Day sits in solo 4th place after posting back to back 66’s. He’s looking for his first win on TOUR in two years and was also one of our Top 20 picks for this week.

Rory McIlroy and Keegan Bradley are also in contention.
