Quick Update: The Memorial Tournament
Ben Griffin is on a heater right now.
He won a team event with Andrew Novak a little over a month ago.
He won last week in Texas for the first solo win of his career & he was the first round leader at the Memorial after shooting 65 on Thursday.
After 36 holes & a cut, he’s tied in the top spot with Nick Taylor at 7-under.
It should be noted, by the way, all three of Nick Taylor’s most recent wins (‘23 RBC Canadian, ‘24 WM Open, ‘25 Sony Open) have come via playoff win. The guy is clutch.
Akshay Bhatia is in solo third place at 5-under.
Behind those three? Our pick and world #1 Scottie Scheffler at 4-under.
At one point, Collin Morikawa was also at 7-under, but his 2nd round fell apart on the back nine. Morikawa bogeyed hole No. 10, double bogeyed 15 and, after a birdie on 16, double bogeyed 17 as well to finish the day with a 3-over 75.
However, he’s still in contention as he was one of just 11 players to shoot under par through two rounds:

Every week, without fail, my buddies send me golf links.
We talk about golf. Then I sit down and try to write the newsletter as if I was talking to one of my boys.
So, the other day, my buddy Earl sends me a link to this chicks Instagram Profile - with no context. I watch the video and I am totally puzzled. Is this chick a caddie?
I click over to her website. I start reading around. I still have no clue wtf she’s talking about. The website reads like it was written by some space cadet in LA who’s got crystals all over her apartment that don’t actually do anything:
