Good Morning. Here’s a list of 20 different golf games you can play with your buddies on the course this weekend.
How to Put Like a Pro
From Paddy: As part of my YouTube series “Ten lessons every golfer should know”, the fifth Paddy’s Golf Tip is on putting, which is in two parts.
In the first instalment, I explain the basic fundamentals of putting, covering the set up and the stroke. I demonstrate both aspects and explain why a short follow through encourages you to rap your putts.
I also explain why it is important to train your eyes to watch your putts and also provide a cure for the dreaded yips!

Charles Schwab: Jordan Smith Leads Tight Board

So far, Jordan Smith has handled Colonial best.
The Englishman went 65-65 to reach 10 under, giving him the 36-hole lead at the Charles Schwab Challenge and a real look at his first PGA Tour win.
He opened Friday with an eagle on the par-5 first, sprinkled in four birdies, and only gave one back at 14. Very tidy. Very un-chaotic. Very unlike most of our Saturday foursomes.
Behind him, though, the leaderboard is tight.
Hideki Matsuyama matched Smith’s 65 and sits in the group one shot back at nine under. That group also includes Brian Harman, Ryan Gerard, and Michael Thorbjornsen.
JJ Spaun, Akshay Bhatia, Alex Smalley, AJ Ewart, Brice Garnett, and Russel Henley are jammed at eight under.
Meanwhile, Canadian AJ Ewart (-7) fired a course-best 63 and casually threw in a hole-in-one on 16, because apparently “good round” wasn’t enough.
Smith says the swing still isn’t fully there, but the putter has been hot and he’s been finding fairways and greens, which, at Colonial, is basically showing up with the answer key.
By the way, everyone mentioned in the -7 to -10 range goes off today around 1pm ET.
Two rounds left. One Englishman out front. Multiple major champions behind him.
Should be a fun little weekend in Fort Worth.
