Quick Update: Charles Schwab Challenge

Okay, not exactly the leaderboard we expected at Colonial.

Ben Griffin, fresh off a team win at the Zurich Classic in New Orleans last month, is back at it, sharing the top spot alongside Matti Schmid at 11-under par.

Not bad at all, considering Vegas pegged the winning score this week at around 13.5-under. Looks like someone might’ve underestimated the boys.

Sneaky first-round leader John Pak sits just two shots off the pace at 9-under, with Akshay Bhatia lurking at 7-under.

And there's a whole crew tied at 6-under, featuring some familiar faces - Rickie Fowler, J.J. Spaun, and Tommy Fleetwood.

Our picks to win this week - Scottie Scheffler, Jordan Spieth, and Harris English, are all about 10 shots off the lead. Not great.

Scottie Scheffer is currently +3000 to win and he’s ten shots off the leader at one-under.

Would it surprise anyone if he posted 7-under today and got himself back in contention?
