Quick Update: BMW Championship

Just when you start thinking golf is a young man's game, Adam Scott (-13) shows up at age 44 and shoots the course record, taking a three-stroke lead at the BMW Championship.

He's followed by another player who's a bit long in the tooth by PGA Tour standards, Keegan Bradley (-10).

Of course, there's also a young buck in the mix—Ludvig Aberg (-9), who matched Adam Scott’s course record of 63 with one of his own.

Ludvig was one year old when Adam Scott turned pro.

What About Everyone Else?

Alex Noren (-8) is six off the pace and he’s followed by Taylor Pendrith (-7) Corey Conners (-6) and Sungjae Im (-6).

Patrick Cantlay and Si Woo Kim are tied at -5.

From there, you’ve got everybody else.

In this case, “everybody else” includes Rory McIlroy (-3), Xander Schauffele (-2), and Scottie Scheffler (-1).

Scottie was as perturbed as we’ve ever seen him. He even said the F-word.

Rory McIlroy topped him with the worst club throw of all time, though.

Finally, Hideki Matsuyama WD’d yesterday due to back issues.
