Good afternoon. Tiger Woods has pulled out of The Genesis Invitational, citing the passing of his mother. “I planned to tee it up this week, but I’m just not ready. I did my best to prepare, knowing it’s what my Mom would have wanted, but I’m still processing her loss,” he wrote.

For the second time in three weeks, the pros will be teeing it up at Torrey Pines.
The Genesis Invitational isn’t normally held there, but as you likely already know, it had to be moved from Riviera CC due to the LA wildfires.
We were supposed to see Tiger Woods debut too, but due to the passing of his mother, he has withdrawn. Fortunately, we still get to see some of the PGA Tour’s biggest stars teeing it up for a signature event.
Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, and defending champion Hideki Matsuyama will all be in the field.
