And they say the Fall Swing is meaningless!

Try telling that to Steven Fisk.

For guys like Fisk, who edged out Garrick Higgo on Sunday to take home his first PGA Tour trophy, the Fall Swing provides a career and life altering opportunity.

It wasn’t an easy path to victory, either, as Fisk and Higgo dueled it out in a back-nine birdiefest that left little margin for error.

Ultimately, on the 17th hole, Higgo blinked first.

He stuffed his approach shot to three feet, but Fisk managed to get inside him.

Higgo would miss the three foot putt, and Fisk birdied, as he did for four of the final five holes, and won.

Notably, Fisk lost his father earlier this year and his caddie, Jay Green, was on the bag for Grayson Murray for his win at the Sony Open. Both player and caddie had to overcome loss and refocus their careers afterward.

You can bet your bottom dollar that this meant the world to them.
