Quick Update: Sanderson Farms Championship

Garrick Higgo (-13) leads by one stroke after two rounds at The Sanderson Farms Championship in Jackson, Miss.

Higgo is one of those players who are outside the Top 100, so a win this weekend would lock up his TOUR Card for 2026.

He leads over Eric Cole, who shot 67 in yesterday’s round, and Taylor Montgomery, who made 9 birdies in 10 holes en route to shooting a 63.

Danny Walker went out and fired a 68, which leaves him only two shots back and T4. Big deal for him - dude’s clinging to No. 104 in the FedExCup standings.

Vince Whaley (No. 102) tossed in a 67, and Tom Kim (No. 99) decided to save par the hard way with a sandy on 18 for a 66.

They’re all three shots back, chasing hard with their TOUR lives basically on the line.

In all, there are 15 players within 5 shots of the lead.
