Quick Recap: RBC Heritage

Putting can be a superpower.

That’s what put Justin Thomas back in the winners circle yesterday.

Starting on the 4th hole, he made five straight putts; 8 feet for par, 7 feet for birdie, 7 feet for par, 8 feet for par, and about 15 feet for birdie on the 8th.

Yet with all those putts finding the hole, he still found himself in a playoff with Andrew Novak.

Novak made birdie on the 16th hole to even the score with Thomas, who was playing ahead of him.

Novak, a South Carolina native, had an 8 foot putt for birdie to win in regulation, but it was left all the way.

He tapped in for par and a two man playoff against Thomas.

In the playoff, Novak hit his approach to 35 feet. JT hit his to about 20 feet.

Novak missed and Thomas hit as pure of a putt to win as you’ll ever see.

Golf Gal Of The Week: Lauryn

Okay, so it turns out, if you’re in Vegas and need a caddy, you can hire a model to do it through Platinum Tees. Pretty clever idea.

Thing We’d Buy: Nike Golf

Nike Golf is back in a big way this year and their newest drops reflect that perfectly.

Of course, they’ve got all the gear you’d need, from shoes and apparel to bags and gloves.

We’re big fans of the Dri-Fit golf polos. Especially in that summer heat.
