Quick Update: Shriners Children’s Open
Weather delays have interrupted yet another PGA Tournament.
After two days, the Shriners Children’s Open is only halfway through the 2nd round due to crazy winds, which reached up to 50MPH.
No fans were allowed on the property due to safety concerns on Friday.
Here’s what you missed:
Taylor Pendrith made 10 birdies en route to a 61 in the first round, he still leads by one stroke part way through the 2nd round.
Rico Hoey is in solo 2nd place at 9-under.
JT Poston, Doug Ghim, JJ Spaun, Kurt Kitayama, and Davis Thompson are T3 at 8-under.
Rickie Fowler is T25 at 5-under as he tries to regain form.
Joel Dahmen WD’d after getting penalized four strokes for having too many clubs in his bag.
