Sepp Straka (-25) won The AmEx by two strokes over Justin Thomas (-23) yesterday.

If you were busy watching my Eagles advance to their sixth NFC Championship Game since 2002, you might have missed it—but that’s okay!

We’ve got the recap and highlights right here for you, like we do every Monday.

Straka played phenomenal golf all weekend, consistently hitting greens and sinking putts—a winning formula that many of us struggle to replicate during our weekend rounds.

Remarkably, he went 69 holes without making a bogey, coming close to becoming the first player since 2022 to win a tournament bogey-free. However, nerves got the best of him, and he bogeyed two of the final three holes. Still, no one in the field posed a serious threat to his lead.

Justin Thomas gave it his best shot, making six birdies on the front nine and briefly looking like he might close the gap. But he stalled after the 11th hole, finishing with seven straight pars. It’s encouraging to see him rounding back into form.

Justin Lower and Jason Day (-22) finished tied for third, while Patrick Cantlay and the ageless Charley Hoffman (-20) tied for fifth.
