Plus: Golf Gal Of The Week, API Recap, and More Golf News.

Good afternoon. How about NBC completely missing the biggest shot of the tournament yesterday? Truly hilarious, especially considering that the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational was supposed to be the event where the PGA Tour finally listened to fans and cut down on commercial breaks. Instead, a Rolex ad ran right as Russell Henley hit his chip to take the lead.

If you were out golfing and missed the chaos, here’s what it looked like for fans.

Quick Recap: AP Invitational

No one was going anywhere.

That was the story for most of Sunday’s leaderboard—except for Keegan Bradley, who fired an 8-under 64 but was too far back to make a real run.

For a while, it looked like no one would catch Collin Morikawa. He never trailed in the final round and stretched his lead to three shots with five holes to play.

Then came the 14th hole. Morikawa made bogey, while Russell Henley stuck a high-cut to 10 feet and drained the birdie to cut the lead to one.

Two holes later, the par-5 16th delivered the tournament’s defining moment—assuming you caught it, since NBC managed to miss most of it. Henley was in the greenside rough, staring at a downhill eagle chip that looked impossible to stop before the water. He found the only way to do it—by holing out.

Morikawa had a chance to tie but missed his birdie putt. From there, Henley needed just two pars to close it out and slip on the red cardigan.
