Good afternoon. The Fedex Cup Playoffs start this Thursday with the Fedex St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind in Memphis.

Quick Recap: The Wyndham Championship

If your name isn’t Scottie Scheffler, it’s really difficult to win a golf tournament.
That was the case yesterday for Max Greyserman, who fell prey to a pretty common tragedy in golf - the back nine blow up on a Sunday.
At The Wyndham Championship, Max was on a heater. He shot a 60 in the second round, then followed that up with a 66 in the third.
In the final round, after making his second eagle of the day on the 13th, he stepped to the 14th tee (after waiting for over 10 mins ) with a four shot lead.
Then he made a quad-bogey, the dreaded snowman, and watched his lead evaporate.
He was able to bounce back on the 15th with a birdie, but then he made a four-putt double bogey on the 16th.
Those two bad holes for Greyserman created an opening for Aaron Rai, who put the dagger in him with a birdie on the 18th.
It was Aaron Rai’s first PGA Tour win.
Rai is a pretty cool character, he notably wears two gloves and uses iron covers, but he may be the one person on earth who doesn’t get judged for it.
What about everyone else?
On the 72nd hole, the final group was informed that the horn had theoretically been blown for darkness. They had the option to finish up or come back Monday morning. 2 of the 3 players chose to finish up.
Matt Kuchar, who was not in contention to win, nor in contention for the playoffs, decided to not finish the round with his playing partners.
He instead chose to come back Monday morning and hit his approach shot from the 18th green.
In other words, tons of staff and crew had to come back today just so this dude could finish half a golf hole. He’s been getting roasted on Twitter for it.
The difference between a 10-way for 12th and a seven-way tie for 21st is ~$58,000. Matt Kuchar has made $59.8 million in his career.
Cannot believe I'm typing any of these words.

Contact Fix
Here’s a 10-shot sequence that will instantly fix contact issues.
It’s something I learned from a top golf coach with over 50,000 happy amateur students.
He takes weekend golfers, lifelong beginners, and even raw beginners…
And uses this simple 10-shot sequence to fix all their contact issues.
For your first 5 shots...
This drill gets your swing in position for perfect contact so your brain memorizes it…
Without having to think about the takeaway...
Without worrying about clubface angle...
Without confusing swing thoughts.
And if you’re really serious about fixing your contact issues…
If you’re anything like me, you’ll be surprised to see how this simple fix works for golfers playing for decades and even raw beginners.

Drive-Thru Halfway House
This golf course has a drive thru halfway house!
Yay or nay?
I say heck yeah. If you are a cart course, then let’s just speed up play. Halfway houses are often horribly designed and run, adding 10-15 minutes to every round.
So if on carts anyway, just go all in.… x.com/i/web/status/1…

Macade Golf just released their Fall ‘24 collection online.
It’s got mock necks, quarter-zips, polos, and this sweater, which we really dig.
Fall is only a few weeks away, gotta get those layers right.
