Trivia: Only four golfers have won both the BMW Championship and the Fedex Cup in the same season. Who are they? Answer below.

Quick Recap: Tour Championship
👑 Winner: Viktor Hovland $18M
Viktor Hovland finished his season with a bang, winning the last two events of the regular season in dominating fashion.
Most non-casual golf fans had seen this coming for a while. Viktor came out of college as one of the most gifted ball strikers in the game, but like a lot of younger players when they get on Tour, his short game needed some work.
For those keeping count at home, he’s earned $21.6M in the last eight days…
Viktor Hovland won $18 million this afternoon — then got asked how much he thinks about money.
Loved his answer:

What an easy guy to cheer for.
We may or may not have put in a futures bet on him to win The 2024 Masters.
What about everyone else?
Xander Schauffle: The X man gave everything he had on Sunday, shooting seven-under and getting within three shots of Hovland, but it wasn’t enough.
Wyndham Clark: He finished solo third, a nice end to an incredible season. Wyndham, who won twice, including the US Open, already has a Ryder Cup spot locked up. Good. We need some guys with a chip on their shoulder on the US team.
Collin Morikawa: Fell apart on Saturday after breaking the 36-hole scoring record. Golf is a brutal game, man. Three-over-par on Saturday basically put him out of contention. He finished T6.
Scottie Scheffler: Another Top 10 finish for Scottie. The next time we see him… will he have a new putter?
He just completed the best ball striking season since Tiger in 2000, but he didn’t win any majors, because of his putting.
He had two wins this season, including the Players Championship, but it still felt like a letdown season. Which is crazy to say considering it was also historic at the same time.

KFT Suspension: “We have a book on him.”
BOO THIS MAN: Jay Monahan got the Rodger Goodell treatment yesterday.
Winners Bag: What’s inside Viktor Hovlands golf bag?
Is Brooks In?
We don’t want to read too much into it, but based on his wife’s post… it looks like Brooks Koepka is going to get the nod for the Ryder Cup.
Jena must know something we don’t. It looks like Brooksy is on the plane to Italy for the Ryder Cup then 👀🇺🇸

Golf Thing We'd Buy If We Weren't Broke
Ultra popular golf shoe manufacturer, Footjoy really hit it out of the park these last few years when they brought back the old school but also embraced and brought forth some of the best modern looks in the game of golf currently.
Well, they just upped the ante on that whole modern looks thing, by releasing a limited edition “Good Vibes” Hyperflex shoe. For $169.99 you could get the shoes that are certain to have heads turning. And we don’t mean that in a bad way, because rocking these summer themed spikes, any time of year, is sure to bring back the good vibes of smashing balls down the middle of the fairway on a beautiful August morning.
There’s something very 90’s about these shoes. Those colors are reminiscent of those old iMacs that had all the transparent color schemes. And that is alright, alright, alright with us.
Trivia Answer: Tiger, Viktor Hovland, Billy Horschel, and Patrick Cantlay.
See you Wednesday, and RIP Bob Barker.
