Quick Recap: The Olympics

Scottie Scheffler was, once again, brilliant on a Sunday.
He fired a 62 in the final round, landing him at 19-under for the tournament, which was good enough for the gold medal and his 7th win of the year.
While his play was of the same high caliber we’re used to seeing, his emotions were on a different level yesterday.
Starting with his birdie on the 17th hole, we saw a different side of Scottie Scheffler. He was hyped out there.
He gave an extra strong fist pump, yelled something, and then cried on the podium as the U.S. National Anthem played. It was awesome. Becoming a father does strange things to a man.
Meanwhile, Jon Rahm had the opposite kind of day.
He’d jumped out to a fairly commanding lead early in the round, but then had a major collapse and didn’t even end up medaling.
“I’m gonna put that down as one of the biggest collapses, chokes of the year. Right up there with Rory McIlroy at the U.S. Open,” said a bloviating Brandel Chamblee afterward on Golf Channel.
Tommy Fleetwood (-18) and Hideki Matsuyama (-17) grabbed the silver and bronze medals.
What about everyone else?
Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele both finished in the top ten.
Notably, Xander Schauffele finished only one stroke ahead of Wyndham Clark, who was roasted on social media after carding a 75 in the first round.
It hasn’t been a great few months for Clark, who earned his spot on the Olympic Team via OWGR points, but the criticism was still over the top.
Wyndham could’ve mailed it in after that terrible first round. Instead, he buckled down and shot 68-65-65. He deserves a hat tip for that, especially after all of the people commenting from their couches said he didn’t deserve to be there.
Collin Morikawa finished T-24.
No one called for him to be replaced by Bryson DeChambeau.
Personality Hats are in
Fashion has spoken, and the personality hat is all the rage these days. You know what that means? It means it’s a great time to put your logo on a hat.
Talking about all the rage these days, you’re going to want to make it a Branded Bills hat. They make quality merch people actually want to wear.
Don’t just take it from us, see what a happy client has to say about the branded hats they just ordered:
“They're wearing them to bowling alleys, sporting events, etc.” Rebecca Ferguson, Empire CAT

Divots…
Quote: “I still think that the Ryder Cup is the best tournament that we have in our game, pure competition, and I think this has the potential to be right up there with it,” McIlroy said. “I think with how much of a sh*tshow the game of golf is right now and you think about the two tournaments that might be the purest form of competition in our sport, we don’t play for money in it. It speaks volumes for what’s important in sports and what’s important.”
Rory McIlroy, talking about Olympic Golf.
