No Masters Hangovers Here

After two days of perfect conditions at Harbour Town, the competition is really tight at the top of the board.

The RBC Heritage is wide open and birdies are available as we begin moving day.

Collin Morikawa played impressively on Friday, bouncing back well from his Masters weekend. He shot a 5-under 66 and he seems to be finding his way back to major championship form.

Morikawa is tied for the lead with Tom Hoge, who shot a 64, J.T. Poston, and Sepp Straka.

Straka got off to a rough start when his first drive hit a spectator in the noggin, leading to a double bogey.

But after finding out the spectator was okay (there was blood and he needed stitches), he regained his composure and made eight birdies to shoot 65.

What about everybody else?

Ludvig Aberg is at 10-under, continuing his own streak of impressive play. The kid is just so good. Watch him pure this 2-iron from 270. 

Patrick Cantlay and Sahith Theegala are nine-under and T8.

Scottie Scheffler, fresh off his Masters win, is right there lurking. He’s eight-under and three off the lead, which means he will probably win and everyone else can go home.

The card for this week still has some life, but we don’t hate taking a flier on Tom Hoge.

Afterall, he is the only man in 2024 who has even come close to Scottie Schefflers SG:APP numbers.
