The 2024 Men's Olympic Golf Tournament tees off tonight and it features a 60-man, top-heavy field with no cut.
The tournament will play as a 4-day stroke play event, similar in a lot of ways to the PGA Tour Signature Events, just without the $20 million dollar purse.
It will be held at Le Golf National, which you may remember from the 2018 Ryder Cup where team USA got their butts kicked. Fortunately, the course set up will be a lot different now compared to what it was then.
The tournament marks only the third appearance of golf in the Olympics over the last half-century, following its inclusion in the 2016 Rio and 2021 Tokyo Games.
As history has shown, those who come into the tournament with momentum from recent major finishes will likely have a significant advantage in vying for the gold medal.
