Good afternoon. Keegan Bradley is officially the 2024 U.S. Ryder Cup Captain. He’s already come out and said he’ll pick the 12 best golfers regardless of whether they are on LIV or the PGA Tour - so that’s good at least.

Rory McIlroy is back after his heartbreak at the U.S. Open.
Do you think he wins either of the next two weeks?
His win last year at The Genesis Scottish Open was unforgettable, especially his 18th-hole approach shot, which was later honored with a plaque.
He’s the favorite this year, although no one has ever won this event twice in a row.
Admittedly, this golf fan would rather see him win The Open next week than the Scottish this week. It’s more meaningful and will go a long way toward helping him get that U.S. Open monkey off his back - if that’s possible at all.
The top end of the field features Xander Schauffele, Ludvig Aberg, Collin Morikawa, Tommy Fleetwood, and Viktor Hovland among others.
With the event co-sanctioned by the DP World Tour, about 75 European pros will join, including the Højgaard brothers and the Fitzpatrick brothers.
Emerging talent Davis Thompson, fresh off a record-setting win at the John Deere Classic, will also be in the field.
The mix of seasoned vets and young guns should make for some great action in Scotland.

Schauffele Shares Thoughts On Ryder Cup
Yesterday, Xander Schauffele faced some questions about The Ryder Cup and found himself in a bit of hot water.
He was asked about Keegan Bradley being named captain and what measures could prevent another embarrassing defeat. Initially, he accepted some responsibility for the U.S. team's poor performance last year, but then shifted into making excuses.
"I feel like Keegan would understand when we need to get up, when we need to practice, and when we need to dodge unnecessary activities, and maybe that will help us," Schauffele said. "Taking a bunch of photos all dressed up, attending two or three mandatory-ish dinners—if we cut it down to one or two, that would be a big deal."
Predictably, golf fans on social media criticized him for this.
Chris Powers at Golf Digest noted that anyone who has experienced the exhaustion of being in a wedding party (with pictures and dinners) might understand his sentiments. Schauffele likely just wants to focus on golf.
We would simply point out that you don’t see the Europeans complaining about taking pictures and eating good food.
