If I'm being honest, The Honda Classic ain't the best event on the PGA tour schedule this year. This is because most of the top golfers are taking a rest week ahead of some marquee events coming up on the tour schedule, like The Arnold Palmer Invitational and The Players Championship (also known as the unofficial 5th Major).

*Note* This event used to be a very big deal and there has been some great showdowns over the years. Honda is moving on from it's sponsorship and the event has become a dud, it'll be interesting to see if the tour attempts to revive the prestige with a new sponsor next year.

On to the gambling...

I am overjoyed to tell you how much this tournament sucks to bet if you enjoy winning money, but if your idea of fun is putting your hard-earned dollars on guys like Jhonattan Vegas and Tyler Duncan then you’ve come to the right place.

Some quick notes on PGA National: it’s fucking tough. You need to be Chris Kyle accurate with your irons, the greens are faster than your sister, there is sand and water all over the goddamn place, and the Bear Trap (15-17) will eat you alive.

I think Sungjae Im is the best golfer out of this bunch and it wouldn’t shock me to see him take it home, but I refuse to drop into triple digits on someone not named Rahm or McIlroy (and even then).

LIV Golfers Back in Majors

The LIV drama has certainly caused a rupture in the golf world, with the PGA Tour suspending all the players that defected, and not allowing them to play in tour events, but that's changing this year.

One thing the PGA Tour doesn't have control over is ALL of the Majors. They only really have say over the PGA Championship, but they don't control The Masters, The Open, or The US Open.

Because The Open is an Open, we don't yet know who will qualify, but all previous Champions who defected to LIV will be invited.

For The Masters, we have 17 LIV Golfers who will be in the field.
