Why do golf fans hate Patrick Reed? The real question may be "how does anyone like him?" Below you can find a rundown of reasons accusations.

1. While at UGA, He was accused of cheating, he was also accused of stealing "$400 and a Scotty Cameron Putter" from a college teammate. He was eventually dismissed from the team and transferred to Augusta State, where teammates also accused him of cheating.

2. Claimed he was a top 5 golfer before he ever won a major.

3. He wears a fucking beaded choker necklace, man, cmon!

4. His wife allegedly runs a burner twitter account called @usegolfacts and she allegedly also has, what some would describe as, a horse face.

5. He's been accused of cheating on tour. According to Gary Van Sickle (incredible name btw) from S.I. Here's what he said "Remember in 2012, when Reed set a record (at the time) by Monday qualifying six times to get into PGA Tour fields? That is a remarkable feat, because you’ve got to shoot low, low, low. To do it six times in one summer almost defies belief."

6. Most recently, after joining LIV Golf, in a few actions in line with being someone who everyone else hates, he's filed defamation lawsuits (they were dismissed) against the PGA Tour, Golf Channel, Brandle Chamblee, and others.
